### Introduction

[Rabet](https://rabet.io/) is an integrated set of open-source wallets for the Stellar network, allowing everyone around the world to interact with Stellar

### **For developers**

Developers can directly inject Rabet into their application through the browser without the need to install an SDK or package. This is the start of safe interaction with your users.

### **For users**

Users can easily do all operations available on Stellar, including asset transfer or asset exchange, and interact with all the Stellar apps in a safe user-friendly environment. Rabet is your key to entering the world of Stellar.

### **Goal**

Rabet's goals are tied to Stellar's goals. This means that Rabet helps Stellar to become a global payment network.

To become a robust financial network globally, a cascade of events need to take place:

1. Widespread user adoption, which hinges on sufficient levels of liquidity;
2. Liquidity is predicated on user interactions.
3. Users only interact with a platform that delivers an enjoyable experience both at its core and the client level.

Therefore, Rabet aims to create enjoyable experiences for users at the client level.

# Misson and Values

## **Mission**

Rabet's mission is to facilitate interaction. This has been our objective from the first day we started developing Rabet in 2020. Rabet's structure is built entirely around this goal.

This interaction consists of two parts:

1. Allowing users to interact with the network and performing all operations in a user-friendly environment.
2. Allowing users to interact with Stellar's applications and signature of transactions in a safe environment.

## Problem and Solution

**Problem**

Enabling interactions in the Stellar ecosystem between users and the Stellar network and users with Stellar network applications

**Solution**

Establishing a layer between the network and users. The layer is made of a set of various clients on different platforms.

The advantage distinguishing Rabet from other clients is its pleasant user experience and clean design implemented through a single design system.

![](/files/kxLfRaAMO9pqubbaYXWp)

Accessibility is the other area differentiating Rabet. Rabet is the only client that allows you to carry out all Stellar operations on a simple and intuitive user interface. These operations consist of flags management, the establishment of trust lines, path payments, and more.

## **Target market**

Anyone familiar with Stellar is a potential user. Our users are divided into two general categories:

1. **Businesses and Developers**

All online businesses aiming to inject Stellar into their application can exploit Rabet to interact with their users.

For example, imagine a cryptocurrency payment gateway, such as BitPay, that would rely on Rabet to sign transactions on their payment page.

1. **Ordinary Users**

These are users who directly interact with Stellar in any way. This could be an asset builder who intends to manage his/her flags or an ordinary user conducting operations on the network, such as sending assets.

## Featurs

**Useful by design**

Rabet is designed with accessibility in mind, allowing users to execute Stellar's major operations in a user-friendly environment.

**Secure by default**

All the data in the Rabet is encrypted and stored on your local device. Therefore, you are in complete control of your data.

**Made for interaction**

Anything you have yet gained was derived from the interaction. The structure of Rabet is designed such that one can interact with the next generation financial network, i.e., Stellar.

**Support for various platforms**

Rabet is available to everyone on any operating system and device—browsers, smartphones, desktops. Just choose your device and install it.

**Rabet is Your Identity**

In the Stellar world, Rabet is your passport, letting you interact with any SApp you wish.

## Market research

**Industry and market research**

Similar to any other revolution, the bitcoin and blockchain revolution started with ideal goals. The most important of these objectives was decentralization and freedom of financial operations.

Early blockchains did not affect people's daily lives. However, with the advent of DeFi (decentralized finance), the situation changed, and people learned that they could do financial transactions such as asset transfer, asset exchange, and lending on blockchain networks. At present, DeFi is a 75 billion dollar industry with hundreds of thousands of daily active users, and thousands of Fin-tech companies seeking to build their own applications on the blockchain.

However, just as you need an interface and identity before you can use banking services, you need a software client for DeFi to do the same. This is where Rabet comes in to expand Stellar's DeFi capabilities.

At the moment, MetaMask on Ethereum is the largest client with more than 10 million users. Rabet is positioned to experience similar growth as its market share is directly proportionate to the growth of the Stellar ecosystem: as Stellar gains more traction and attracts more liquidity, Rabet will become more popular. The opposite also holds: as more people learn about Rabet and its capabilities, they essentially become active users on Stellar, effectively growing the entire ecosystem.

### **Threats and opportunities (SWOT)**

**Strength**

Support for desktop, mobile, and web.

A consistent design system was applied to all Rabet clients.

Enjoyable UX/UI.

Support for all Stellar operations.

**Weakness**

Lack of recognition in the community.

Lack of widespread adoption.

**Opportunity**

The continuous growth of the Stellar ecosystem and Fintechs becoming more interested in the network.

Adding Automated Market Maker (AMM) to Stellar and the explosion of liquidity in Stellar, which will boost Rabet's adoption.

**Threat**

## **Marketing and Sales**

We have two main programs for marketing our product:

1. **Giveaway programs**: Each month, we will hold four random draws among users who install Rabet to encourage participation and attract new users.
2. **PR**: We will collaborate with reputable crypto outlets to promote Rabet and Stellar through educational content and news stories.

Activating and retaining users requires a well-defined process consisting of the value and experience the user gains by interacting with the product and brand.

We have identified three key factors that, when delivered correctly, can create an excellent experience for users, establish trust, and maximize the value they receive. These factors are as follows:

1. Enjoyable UX/UI
2. Reliable customer support
3. Comprehensive features

# Roadmap

## **Milestone 1** ✅

1. Studying Stellar's structure
2. Structure design and implementation of the pages in the extension
3. Injecting Horizon to the extension
4. Releasing the Chrome extension
5. Obtaining community feedback and applying improvements
6. Releasing the Firefox, Edge extensions

In Milestone I, we released the extension version because the majority of users will rely on an extension to perform operations on the network.

We started development with Google Chrome given its higher market share as it afforded more opportunities for testing and obtaining community feedback.

We upgraded the app based on the feedback we received from the community and added various features until the extension reached a stable point in terms of performance and user-friendliness.

Next, we gradually prepared for the other browsers and released the Firefox and Edge versions of Rabet.

## Milestone 2 ✅

1. Introducing [Rabet Token (RBT)](/tokenomics#what-is-rbt)
2. Pre-sale
3. Public sale
4. Listing in the exchagnes

In Milestone 2, We have made a major decision to create a large ecosystem on Stellar’s client layer. We believe that, in addition to the DAO-managed core of Stellar, a community-governed ecosystem must be present on the client-side. To this end and to create a powerful ecosystem, we have decided to mint Rabet tokens (RBT) to turn our community members into stakeholders in the value that Rabet creates.

Date: Q1 2022

## **Milestone 3** ✅

1. Structure design and implementation of the pages in the desktop version
2. Injecting Electron JS into the core of the Rabet
3. Releasing the desktop version (macOS, Linux, and Windows)
4. Obtaining community feedback and applying improvements

In Milestone 3, we are seeking to implement a desktop version focusing on user-network interactions instead of user-dApp interactions. The desktop version allows users to manage their assets on Stellar without any dApp connections, thereby enhancing security. In other words, the desktop version enjoys all the features of the extension excluding interaction with dApps.

We aim to release Rabet on macOS, Windows, and Linux using JS Electron

Date: Q1 2022

## **Milestone 4** ⚪

1. Structure design and implementation of the pages in mobile version
2. Releasing the mobile version (PWA)
3. Obtaining community feedback and applying improvements

In Milestone 4, we will focus on the mobile version. Mobile devices are the most accessible and popular pieces of technology globally. This fact is evident in the number of users of popular wallets. For example, Trust wallet has nearly 10 million mobile users but fewer than 100,000 users on its desktop version.

We intend to release a Progressive Web Application (PWA) instead of developing native mobile apps for three reasons:

* Faster development
* Compatible with Rabet's JavaScript core
* Higher accessibility as PWAs are not dependent on centralized app stores owned by tech giants such as Apple and Google who have strict rules for apps with financial use cases.

A notable feature of the mobile version is its SApp store where users can explore and discover Stellar dApps in a safe environment.

# Tokenomics

![](/files/m72CLJNVzpFqPBZs2dm0)

We have made a major decision to create a large ecosystem on Stellar’s client layer.

### What Is RBT

RBT is a governance token for Rabet, minted on to enable community growth and participation.

Asset code: RBT

Asset issuer: [GCMSCRWZ...H7LPSOYS](https://stellar.expert/explorer/public/asset/RBT-GCMSCRWZ3QBOI6AF75B5ZWDBXOSMIRW4FSBZH5OI65Y4H4GVH7LPSOYS-1)

Total supply: 100,000,000 RBT

Blockchain: Stellar

### Token Allocation

![](/files/JeMNQlxnZHju66YSc2la)

**50% for ecosystem reward**

Rabet is a community-led project, and we want to illustrate this fact by distributing RBT among community members. Our goal is to give 50% of the supply to the users via various programs.

The rewards incentivize holding, providing liquidity, and hunting bugs.

**10% for the team.**

These tokens are allocated to the development team.

**10% for marketing.**

These tokens will be used for Rabet’s branding, advertising, B2B partnerships, and exchange listing fees.

**10% for public sale**

These tokens are allocated to the community and will be distributed to members of the community as a public sale.

**20% for Pre-sale.**

These tokens are allocated to investors who intend to invest in Rabet for the long term.

### Token Circulation

![](/files/KD9yd1Sp5DHirlAK7Dm5)

### RBT use cases

**1. Governance**

RBT holders can vote on major community issues and participate in the development via a portal that will be built in the near future.

**2. Bug report bounty**

To incentivize the community to assist us in the development process, we have allocated 10% of the supply (10,000,000 RBT) for bug bounties. The bug must be reported via a pull request on Github, and its bounty depends on the severity.

**3. Pool reward**

As another measure to encourage participation, we have allocated 10% of the supply (10,000,000 RBT) to users who provide liquidity to the RBT/XLM and RBT/USDC pools. Rewards will be distributed every month.

**4. Holder reward**

As a way to reward loyal Rabet users and RBT holders, we have allocated another 10% of the supply (10,000,000 RBT) to users who have RBT in their wallets. The rewards will be distributed every month in proportion to the number of tokens in your wallet.

Note: To qualify for this reward, you need to hold at least 1,000 RBT.

# Ecosystem reward

![](/files/qQVyHyDwVnBm5hsGzPu3)

As mentioned in the [tokenomics](/tokenomics), we have allocated 50% of the total RBT supply to the Rabet ecosystem, which will be distributed to the community as a reward for increasing liquidity and demand for RBT in addition to expanding the Rabet ecosystem.

The ecosystem reward is threefold:

### 1. Holder reward <a href="#id-1-holder-reward" id="id-1-holder-reward"></a>

10% of total supply (10 million RBT) will be distributed monthly among RBT holders for four years. All addresses holding more than 1,000 RBTs will be eligible for the reward in proportion to their holding.

On a random day in every month, we will take a snapshot of all RBT holders, identify eligible addresses, calculate their rewards, and then distribute them at the end of each month.

### 2. LP reward <a href="#id-2-lp-reward" id="id-2-lp-reward"></a>

20% of total supply (20 million RBT) will be distributed monthly among liquidity providers (LPs) for four years. All addresses providing more than 1,000 RBT to RBT/XLM and/or RBT/USDC pools will be eligible for the reward.

On a random day in every month, we will take a snapshot of all RBT LPs, identify eligible addresses, calculate their rewards, and then distribute them at the end of each month.\
**Note**: Becoming eligible for LP reward is “hitting two sparrows with one stone!” because you will automatically be considered eligible for Holder reward as well.

### 3. Bug bounty reward <a href="#id-3-bug-bounty-reward" id="id-3-bug-bounty-reward"></a>

5% of total supply (5 million RBT) will be distributed to those helping with the development of Rabet. This help could be reporting a bug or suggesting a new feature.

Anyone who contributes by reporting a bug about UI/UX or security, or suggesting new features will be considered eligible for a reward in proportion to the significance of their contribution.

You may email your report and suggestions to <bug@rabet.io> under one of the following subjects so that your message would be assessed by our corresponding team members:

1. UI/UX
2. Security
3. Feature

### 4. Treasury <a href="#id-4-treasury" id="id-4-treasury"></a>

15% of total supply (15 million RBT) will be transferred to a treasury for the community to decide how to spend it through the DAO.
